Haulk & Herrera LLP is a boutique California employment law firm dedicated exclusively to representing employees. We litigate high-impact employment cases throughout California, including wage-and-hour individual and representative actions, as well as matters involving wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination.

We are seeking a mid-level associate attorney with at least 4 years of California employment law experience to join our growing plaintiff-side practice.
​
The Role
You will work closely with the firm’s partners and play a substantive role in employment litigation, including:

Litigating single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters

Drafting complaints, pleadings, and written discovery
-
Taking and defending depositions
-
Managing discovery and analyzing payroll and timekeeping data

Drafting and arguing motions
-
Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
-
Communicating directly with clients
-
Assisting with class certification and settlement approval
This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and involvement in litigation strategy from the outset.
Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of California employment law experience

Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Education & Licensure
-
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
-
Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
What We Offer

Salary range: $150,000–$215,000, commensurate with experience
